Card Number Two

Hi there

One of my new years resolution's this year was to try make one card a week, I thought to myself that should be easily attainable, sadly no, this is only my 2nd card of the year so I am already 8 cards behind which has me scratching my head as to where those 8 weeks have gone.  Of course I can hear those of you out there that know me well saying "no way was I ever going to make this resolution work" yep you are all right :(, but you've got to have something to aim for or other wise you never get anywhere, right? right! Maybe I need to adjust my taget back a little to maybe one a month, but then I wouldn't have enough for all my family's birthdays let alone friends birthdays, weddings etc. (I know what you are thinking Rachel, stop it now! :) )

Anyway to follow are some pic's of my second card this year, made from the gorgeous Basic Grey's Hop Scotch range.  The stamp is from Lily of the Valley, (can't wait to get my next order organised from them) and is coloured with Distress Inks.  My inspiration for the front layout came from the talented Bev.

And the inside .......

Some close ups .......

Thanks for stopping by, hope you are all well and getting lots of crafting in.

Cheers
Joanne

  3. In real life it is soooo much better - it sparkles in the light with all the glitter around the pages! You could have just left it here and then I could have filled it out for you in JUNE!!
    lol

  4. When I did quite a bit of card making a few years ago my husband (thinking he is very funny of course) thought my cards must have a retail value of about $27.00 each when you take into account how much stuff I used to buy.
If you add your hourly rate of say $10p/hr yours would be well over $100 each!!!!
Anyone should consider themselves very lucky indeed to recieve such a valuable keepsake.
